Job Description:	Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc., a leader in alternative treatment programs for youth-at-risk, is seeking a Full-time, Temporary Registered Nurse for our wilderness camp in Brooksville, FL. This position will be for a period of 6 - 9 months. Join us now and help us fulfill our mission of improving the future - one child at a time! At Eckerd Youth Alternatives we serve youth and families at-risk, and we treat each child in a comprehensive and caring manner. As a Registered Nurse, you will review client records noting health care needs, document health care progress, administer necessary medications, provide health education, and refer children for care when required treatment is beyond the scope of nursing. You’ll also build relationships with the youth, and know that you’re performing a vital role in enhancing their lives. Hours are for full-time work (M-F) for a period of 6-9 months. Valid state Registered Nurse license and RN diploma or degree required. 2 years nursing experience (preferably with children/adolescents) preferred. Should have understanding of psychiatry, pediatric medicine, and psychotropic medication.
