Job Description:	Provides orientation, training and education for RCH staff and specialized education for staff in Perioperative area. Demonstrates ability to utilize the educational process to assess, prioritize, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational activities to assist staff to attain/maintain the knowledge and skill necessary to achieve competence in role expectations and improve the quality of patient care. Functions as clinical practitioner and serves as a role model for clinical practice behaviors. Serves as an educational resource for staff and for patient/family educational needs. Assists in the planning and implementation of Continuing Medical Education Programs. Current CA RN License,Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 3 years nursing practice in area of specialty. 2 or more years of experience as a educator/preceptor. AHA,CPR, ACLS, PALS provider and instructor. Hospital has 370 beds and level II trauma ER. 10 state-of-the-art operating rooms available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A wide range of procedures are performed, including Total Joint Replacement, Spinal, Laparoscopic, Open Heart, Organ Transplant and out patient procedures. Salary is $87,360
