Job Description:	Located 14 miles from downtown San Diego, Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista serves the incredibly fast growing South Bay community of San Diego. It has recently added more than 40,000 square feet, doubling the emergency and intensive care beds and has fully renovated the lobby and laboratory. Scripps Mercy Chula Vista has 173 acute-care licensed beds with more than 800 employees. The wide variety of services include a brand new digital cardiac cath lab, a Breast Health Outreach and Education Program and a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery. This position provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
