Responsible for the day to day operations of the Maternal Child Health units to include L&D, Level ll Nursery and Family Birth Unit. Shares responsibility for the unit on a 24-hour basis with the Director. Leadership responsibility of designated clinical areas. Functions as a resource. Accountable for standards of patient care and practice in multi-disciplinary care settings. Supervises, coordinates, evaluates and improves the delivery and quality of patient care. Participates in the budgetary process and maintains fiscal accountability. |
