Job Description:	The Scripps Mercy Hospital Emergency Services department is comprised of a 13-bed Emergency Department, a 4-bed Chest Pain Center, and 8-bed Urgent Care and a 2-bed Trauma suite. We provide a Level ll Trauma Center, caring for approximately 2000 trauma patients per year. Our department is also a Paramedic Base Station directing over 1500 ACLS/BLS calls per month. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Services department, you will provide a direct patient care within the scope of practice. This includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The Registered Nurse takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision. As a team member, you will work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care, reflecting Scripps values.
