A large Physicians Group associated with a prestigious school of medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for their Vascular Surgery division. This Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care to adult, adolescent and pediatric. Duties will include: performing physical examinations and preventive health measures; ordering, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic tests; recording physical findings and formulating plans and prognosis, based on the patient’s condition; prescribing or recommending medications or other forms of treatment; discussing cases with physicians; and other duties as assigned.
Qualified applicants will be a graduate of an accredited program for nurses. Will possess a Master's degree with completion of a primary care Nurse Practitioner program; be registered with and licensed by the Maryland Board of Nursing or multi-compact state or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure; 3-5 years practical experience. Vascular experience preferred.
