Job Description:	We invite you to join our Breastlink Centers’ team as an Oncology Registered Nurse. This full-time career opportunity has a Monday thru Friday schedule and is located at our busy multi-modality outpatient practice in the Manhattan Beach area (Hawthorne). Dedicated specifically to breast cancer research, detection, treatment, and breast care, the facility provides vital services in a comfortable setting to women in the community. As an Oncology/Chemo RN you'll: * Perform patient prescription medication screenings prior to all procedures. * Draw/Mix and administer injections and chemotherapy, and monitor patients’ during/post administration. * Assist physicians and patients during and after exams/procedures. * Administer post-biopsy vital sign checks on patients. * Package and route biopsy materials for testing. * Maintain proper documentation, dictate patient histories and physicals, and complete all appropriate medical record documentation requirements. * Assist with injured patients; provide preliminary exam and vital signs in the event of accident/injury at the center. * Work with our Research Department on Clinical Trial protocols and compliance of Research protocols. * Perform other tasks and projects as assigned following site policies and within legal scope of responsibility. We're looking for experienced candidates with either an AA and/or BS degree in Nursing, CPR certification, OCN certification, ACLS certification, and at least 5 years of experience administering chemotherapy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, patience, professionalism, and patient relations skills are also a must!
